Content Management System

Document Actions

A Content Management System (CMS) is a software system used to create, edit, manage and publish digital data (content). These editorial systems are application programs which are normally based on a database. A characteristic feature of the various types of Content Management Systems is the strict separation of the actual programming of the application and the enlargement of the system, the administration and the editing of the content. Web content management systems (WCMS) are specific types of CMS for the administration of web pages.
