EGOV 2010 - HOME
Nineth international EGOV conference 2010, Lausanne, Switzerland (29st August - 2rd September 2010). Organised by Maria Wimmer, Jochen Scholl, Marijn Janssen, Jean-Loup Chappelet.
In continuity of the former EGOV conferences, in 2010, the IFIP WG 8.5 group organised its nineth conference. For the first time, the conference was organised outside the former conference cluster of DEXA, and hence, it was a full working conference on electronic government of the IFIP.
EGOV 2010 was hosted at the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration - IDHEAP.

In 2010, the IFIP e-government conference was colocated with ePart, the new International Conference on eParticipation, which is dedicated to topics on eParticipation and eDemocracy. ePart was held in parallel tracks to the IFIP e-government conference.
The conference chairs are very pleased about the large number of participants. With ePart 2010, more than 150 participants enjoyed a wonderful environment with lively discussions at paper sessions, panels and workshops, and excellent networking.
The PhD Colloquium on Sunday, 28th August had five PhD students presenting their works, another four candidates for PhDs, and seven senior faculty members. We look forward to see these students growing into our EGOV and ePart communities and wish them all the best for their PhD works.
We look forward to the next years to come to see further successful networking and growing the community in e-government and e-participation research and practitice!
