The Fourth DEMO-net and EGOV PhD Colloquium was held August 31 - September 1, 2008 in Torino, Italy in conjunction with the annual EGOV conference. The colloquium was co-organised with the DEMO_net network of excellence, the AIS SIG eGovernment and the IFIP WG 8.5 on Information Systems in the Public Sector.

The call for phd student papers is available here. Application areas were eGovernment and eParticipation. Both themes were covered at the PhD Colloquium.

Students were invited to submit their PhD project and thesis proposals, which were reviewed and discussed by other PhD students and senior eGovernment researchers.

The overall aim of the PhD colloquium was to bring PhD students who are scattered across countries and disciplines more together.
